Summary

Use the workaround detailed below when you see this error while attempting to edit contact information for contractors:

Steps

1. Enter the Contractor License or Name into the TRAKiT search bar near the top of the screen.

2. Select the AEC Record from the results.

3. Using the drop down next to the License Number click Link To.

4. In the “Link To” screen, enter the permit number you are trying to add the contact information to. 

5. Select the appropriate record from the search.

6. Select the appropriate information to link to (in this case contractor).

7. Now your contractor information will be successfully added without error.
