Summary

There are multiple ways to join a Webex Webinar.  As a panelist, attendee, via an invite, registering from a link or by receiving a Webex generated email.  This guide will walk you through the process of joining as an Attendee through a Butte County Development Services shortened web link.

If appropriate once you have joined the meeting you will be moved by our moderators to a Panelist position.

 

Steps

1. Locate the relevant shortened Bitly link and copy the address into your browser.  This link will navigate you to the registration page and will look similar to:

2. Enter your information in the window that pops up 

3. You have now joined the webinar!

4. If the meeting has not started yet you will get this pop up. You will have to wait until the meeting has started. 


5. You will be redirected to this page and select Join Webinar when the event is running.






You are now in the meeting.  Please allow our moderators time to find you in the attendee panel and move you to the Panelist section if appropriate. You will be muted and unable to share video until this has happened.
