Summary
This tutorial will guide you in accepting page role invitations in Facebook. Role invitations allow you to be given certain Facebook page privileges such as posting, messaging, invitations, etc., based on your specific role’s privileges.
Steps
1. Open https://www.facebook.com/ and sign into your account.
2. Navigate to the left column on your page and expand the See More option at the bottom of the list.
3. Select the Pages option. This will bring you the Pages section of Facebook.
4. In the left column of this page, select the Invites option to see your role invitations.
5. From here you will see your Invitations. In this example, there is a page management invite for the Butte County Development Services Facebook page. Click Accept on the invitation.
6. Now you can search for the page you have just accepted the invite for from your current account and you will notice you now have access to your role’s features. In the example below we have the options to send a message, create posts, view the page as if we were a normal (uninvited) visitor from the public, business tools, creating events, as well as an insights section for page statistics. You are now ready to make page edits.
NOTE: In this example we have been invited as a Facebook page administrator. This role contains a high level of privileges and functions which other roles may not possess.
