SharePoint Out of Office Calendar

 

Summary 

Our hybrid environment has lead to access issues with the Active Directory Generated Out of Office Calendar group.  We have moved our out-of-office Calendar to SharePoint.  This guide will summarize how to interact with the SharePoint version to include importing the Calendar to SharePoint.

Steps


To Create an entry on the calendar on SharePoint:

1. Hover over the date you want to add your entry to and click on the +ADD



2. Enter your event information in the dialogue box



3. Click SAVE


To integrate the SharePoint calendar into Outlook:

1. Click on the Calendar tab at the top left



2. Click Connect to Outlook



3. A warning message will pop up in Outlook, click YES
