Summary

This tutorial will guide you with changing your sound settings within Windows. These settings allow you to choose your audio and microphone devices. These steps are often needed when installing a new device such as our Jabra Evolve wireless headphones.

NOTE: Keep in mind which machine you are attempting to change settings on when using remote desktop. This tutorial is intended for local machine settings. Remote machine sound settings will be set to “Remote Audio” which uses sound devices connected to your local machine. Example below.

3. Choose your output device using the drop-down arrow. If you have multiple devices listed, you may need to cycle through them and test the sound to ensure you have selected the proper device. Test your audio output using the Master Volume slider. Moving the slider will ping a sound to the device you have chosen.
