Summary

Pre-loaded programs can slow down your computer performance. This Guide will walk you through the steps to disable Superfetch and improve the speed of your computer.

 

Steps

1. Navigate to the Start Icon located at the bottom left of the computer screen.

2. In the Search Bar type Run. Then click the application to open it.



3. A new popup window will appear. In the Search Bar type services.msc. Then Click OK.



4. Another popup will appear. Navigate your way till you find Superfetch. Double Click Superfetch.



5. Under General locate Startup type.



6. Select Disabled from the Startup type drop-down menu.



7. Select the Stop button. Then click OK.
