Summary
This tutorial will guide you in removing a link in the blue left hand navigation menu within the Civic Plus web page editor. Links can often become out of date or moved to a different location requiring us to clean up the menu.
Steps
1. Sign into your Civic Plus account then navigate to your desired page on the web site. For this example, we will be removing the Plan Check Guidelines (Residential) link in the navigation menu.
2. We will first need to unpublish this page in order to delete it. To do this, open the Civic Plus editor. Within the Versions tab, select Actions then Unpublish.
3. Notice the version of this page has turned into a “Draft”. All versions of this page must be in draft form in order to delete. Now select the Actions option near the top of the page. This is a separate Actions option than we used to unpublish the page. Then select Delete Page.
4. You will be prompted with a notification window asking if your are sure you want to delete this and all associated versions. Select OK to continue.
5. The page and link associate to it have been removed from the left hand navigation menu.
